We
encourage and welcome all who may be interested
to "come and see" what living a life as a committed
Catholic Christian can mean for you.
If
you are interested in learning more about this program, or the
role of a sponsor, please call or email Maureen in the Religious

Adults |
RCIA
- Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults
This
process provides learning opportunities for adults who are interested
in becoming Catholic. It is also for baptized Catholics who have
received no other sacraments. |
| |
The
process begins each September with inquiry classes. |
|
|
In
December there is a formal Rite of Enrollment. Adults
then begin a more in depth study of the faith, traditions, and practices
of the Catholic Church. |
| |
On
Holy Saturday at the Easter Vigil, the adults receive the sacraments
of Baptism, Confirmation, and Eucharist. There is a month of follow-up
sessions and a celebration of the process. |

CIC
- Christian Initiation of Children
The program is modeled on the Rite of Christian
Initiation of Adults and has been designed to initiate un baptized
children into our Catholic Community, and help them prepare for
the sacraments of Baptism and Eucharist. |
| |
CIC
is also a valuable preparation for the Eucharistic process for older
children and their parents, ages 9 and up, who have been baptized
but have not had any prior formal religious education. |
