Our celebration of Corpus Christi will be our day devoted to the Eucharist. It is Fr. Ray’s hope that this celebration of Corpus Christi will help us all to grow in our appreciation and love for the Holy Eucharist and for one another.
9:00 AM Mass
9:30 AM – 5:00 PM Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament. You may signup to for 30 minutes of prayer on the Corpus Christi Adoration sheets on the walls of each vestibule, or you may come at your convenience.
5:30 PM The Solemn Mass of Corpus Christi, followed by a procession and Benediction. Recent First Communicants dressed in their special attire who are present for the Mass are invited to participate in the procession as a group. Everyone attending the Mass and procession, are also invited to dress in their traditional cultural garb and to bring bells, or other portable instruments to carry in the procession.
7:00 PM At the conclusion of Benediction in the church, everyone is invited to the lower campus outside the Multipurpose Room for food and beverage. We welcome everyone to bring some kind of a dessert that reflects their culture to share. You may bring these non-perishable items to the multipurpose room before Mass.
