To fast - one full meal, two lesser meals, no eating between meals,
no meat.
The law of fasting obliges all persons who are 18 through 59 years of
age.
Abstinence (from meat and meat products): All Fridays

The law on abstinence obliges everyone who is over 13 years of age. |

Good Friday

Join parishioners of St. Joan of
Arc's and St. Raymond's in a reflective experience of Jesus' passion,
a walk from St. Raymond's to St. Joan's caring the cross of Christ.
After the walk, everyone is invited to enjoy a simple soup lunch at
St. Joan of Arc.
Please gather at St. Raymond's prepared to start
walking at 10:00 a.m..
This is a wonderful way to celebrate the truly humbling mystery of Good
Friday. |

permitting, we will gather on the lawn area outside the church
for the blessing of the Easter fire
and a procession into our newly renovated Church, where we will celebrate
the Easter Vigil.
If it rains, we will begin our celebration in the Gym and then move
into the Church.
