We will be celebrating our 40th jubilee on Sunday, October 6th. We hope you will join us at this community-wide event.
Come early with your blankets and outdoor chairs and enjoy pre-liturgy musical selections by our talented choir groups! Shaded seating with chairs will be also be provided for those with ambulatory issues or physical limitations.
At 11:00 AM we will start our outdoor mass. After the mass, we will welcome local representatives from other faith traditions, who will briefly share congratulatory remarks. We conclude the opening portion of our program with our beautiful 40th Anniversary song, “No Strangers Here,” composed for this event by our Music Director Janèt Sullivan Whitaker.
Our anniversary celebration continues with live entertainment, a wide array of international food trucks, children’s games, raffles, and even a cakewalk! Food trucks include Indian, Cali-Cruisin’ (cheesesteaks, popcorn shrimp and fries, chicken tenders) Mexican, Korean, Gourmet Pizza, BBQ, and Filipino. Food truck tickets are $10 and include a main entree and side-dish (ticket increases to $15 after Sunday, September 29). Tickets are available for purchase after weekend Masses, on-line (St. Joan of Arc website) and at the Parish Office.

As we finalize preparations, we ask you to join us in our 40th Anniversary parish prayer:
Dear Heavenly Father,
As we celebrate our 40th anniversary as St. Joan of Arc Parish, we praise You for the love and kindness you have bestowed on us, and for empowering us through you Holy Spirit “To be Christ for others as Christ is for Us.” We are grateful that we have been called to serve You and the people in our community, particularly the disadvantaged and the needy. Continue to guide us, as we share the Good News of Jesus Christ.
We ask for your blessing and protection on our upcoming festival, as we joyfully celebrate your gifts and providential care. We also ask for the intercession of St. Joan of Arc, our patroness, who continues to encourage us to, “Go forward bravely. Fear nothing. Trust in God; all will be well.”
We ask this through Christ our Lord, Amen.
