“Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving
let your requests be made known to God.” Phil 4:6 NASB
Give the Gift of Prayer
If you or someone you know could benefit from the power of prayer, you’ve come to the right place. There are several ways to make your requests known to God through St. Joan of Arc. Our Intercessory Prayer Ministry has ministry members committed to praying daily for your request for one month unless otherwise indicated, or you can request a Prayer Shawl from our Middle School ministry and/or you may request a Mass Intention to have a specific Mass said for someone. Take a moment and scroll down to share your request with us and know St. Joan of Arc parishioners will begin praying for your request!
Intercessory Prayer Request
Intercessory Prayer Ministry: You may submit a Prayer Request for yourself or others by using the Intercessory Prayer form found in the vestibules, which are then left in the designated boxes.
Mass Intentions or Prayers in the bulletin: If you would like to schedule a Mass Intention or have someone included in the bulletin Prayers for the Sick or Prayers for the Recently Deceased, please call the Parish Office at 925-830-0600.
Submit a Prayer Shawl Request
The Prayer Shawl Ministry is run by our 7th and 8th graders and anyone can request a prayer shawl for themselves or a loved one. It can be for any situation in which the recipient is in particular need of prayers-illness (either physical or mental), death of a loved one, celebration of new life, etc. For each request, the 7th and 8th graders make a fleece, tie-blanket prayer shawl and a personalized card and note. They then pray specifically for each prayer shawl recipient.
You can fill out a prayer shawl request HERE. After filling out the form you can either print it and drop it off at the Parish Office or Youth Ministry Office or you can save the file to your computer and then email the completed form to Gina McCormick.
