Effective Tuesday, March 17, 2020, at 12:01 a.m., the Contra Costa County Health Officer has issued the following directive to:
“….all individuals in the County to shelter at their place of residence except that they may leave to provide or receive certain essential services or engage in certain essential activities and work for essential businesses and governmental services…..”
This order will be active through Tuesday, April 7, 2020, 11:59 p.m., or until it is extended, rescinded, superseded, or amended by the County Authority.

In response to this order, all Masses are canceled until further notice. I will celebrate daily Mass privately to honor previously assigned Mass intentions as well as to pray for your special needs at this critical time. All other church gatherings and functions are similarly canceled.
The Parish Office will also be closed. A member of the staff will be checking the parish voicemail/email messages on a daily basis and responding to your needs as quickly as possible. I will be responding to emergency sick calls throughout. As more detailed information becomes available, I will pass it on to you.
Please be assured of my prayers for you and for everyone in our parish. Let us strive to place our complete trust in the Lord to guide and protect us during these trying times.
